Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Everything happens entirely on your own device, inside your browser. Your PDFs and any passwords never leave your computer, so there are no upload waits and no copies kept anywhere.
What image format should I choose?
PNG is lossless and best for documents with text and sharp lines. JPG produces much smaller files and is ideal for photo-heavy pages — use the quality slider to balance size and clarity.
What resolution do I need?
Use “Screen” for web and previews, “High” for sharp on-screen viewing, and “Print” (300 DPI) when the images will be printed. Higher resolutions make larger files.
Does it convert every page?
Yes. Every page of each PDF is rendered to its own image, and they’re bundled into a zip — neatly grouped per document when you convert several at once.
