PDF files — processed privately on your device

Use the owner password for a guaranteed unlock. A user password may fail if the document restricts modifications. We don’t crack passwords — you must know it.

How it works

  1. 1

    Add PDFs

Drop in the protected PDFs you want to unlock.

  2. 2

    Enter the password

Provide the password the files were protected with (owner password works best).

  3. 3

    Unlock & download

Save decrypted copies — one file or the batch as a zip. Nothing is uploaded.

Instant & 100% private — nothing is uploaded

Your images are processed instantly on your own device and are never sent to a server — so there are no upload waits, no size limits from us, and no copies kept anywhere.

Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Everything happens entirely on your own device, inside your browser. Your PDFs and any passwords never leave your computer, so there are no upload waits and no copies kept anywhere.
Can this remove a password I don’t know?
No. This is not a password cracker. It removes protection from PDFs you are allowed to open — you need to know the password, or the file must carry only owner restrictions and no open password.
Which password should I enter?
Use the owner password for a guaranteed unlock. A user (open) password works for opening the file, but may not be enough to lift every restriction.
Can I unlock several PDFs at once?
Yes, as long as they share the same password. Add the batch, enter the password, and download all the unlocked files as a zip.
